How to pay for parking in Dubai?

• Mobile app.
  You can download the RTA Dubai or Dubai Drive apps from the Play Store or App Store, register your vehicle in the app, and pay according to the instructions.
• Parking terminals.
  Many parking areas have special machines with payment terminals that issue a parking ticket. You can pay with coins from 1 AED to 50 fils at the machine. After payment, the driver needs to attach the parking ticket to the windshield or dashboard in a visible place.
• Pay by SMS.
  To pay for a parking spot in Dubai via a mobile operator, you’ll need a local SIM card and sufficient balance. An additional commission of 0.30 AED will be charged for sending the message.
• Pay via WhatsApp.

Fines ranging from 100 AED (US$27) to 1000 AED (US$270) are imposed for parking violations in Dubai.
