Requirements for car rental in Dubai

We do not require a deposit, so having a credit card is not necessary to complete the rental agreement—only a valid international driver’s license and the original passport are required.

Requirements for Non-Residents

• Citizens over the age of 21 (25 for some vehicles) can rent a car in Dubai.
• You must have a valid driver’s license and a driving experience of at least 3 years.

Our staff will assist in completing the agreement on the day of car rental, and if needed, they can deliver the car to the airport—upon arrival, you will find a car fully prepared for use.

Requirements for Residents

If you are a resident of the UAE, rental requirements include:

• Copies of the residency visa.
• Emirates ID.
• Valid UAE driver’s license.

With residency, it is no longer possible to drive a car with an international driver’s license.
