Rolls Royce Wraith
The Bentley Continental Convertible’s 6.0-litre W12 twin-turbo engine produces a deep, composed baritone at idle — the kind of presence that reads instantly at any valet stand in Dubai, without demanding a second look. Under acceleration, it sharpens into a controlled, authoritative surge. Inside, hand-stitched leather and precision-crafted surfaces define everything you touch. The AWD system distributes power across all four wheels with real confidence through Dubai’s sweeping interchanges and tighter urban bends. The pneumatic air suspension, part of Bentley’s Continuous Damping Control system, reads the road surface and adjusts in real time — keeping the cabin composed across any road condition. Presence and composure, in equal measure. That’s the Continental.
Between October and April, Dubai evenings are ideal for open-top driving — temperatures sit around 20–25°C, the coastline opens up ahead of you, and the W12’s exhaust note carries effortlessly on the open road. In summer (May–September), keep the roof up and let the near-silent cabin and powerful climate system do the rest.
The Continental Convertible’s presence at a valet stand communicates without explanation. It’s a regular fixture at the city’s most exclusive venues — and it belongs there.
The green exterior, open roof, and Bentley’s unmistakable silhouette photograph exceptionally well. Meydan Bridge after 23:00 — no traffic, dramatic lighting, a clean backdrop — is one of the most sought-after locations in the city. The boot holds up to 358 litres, so you can carry camera gear and still collect someone from DXB without compromise.
The Continental Convertible is equally at home on long-distance routes. One detail worth noting: the speed tolerance in Dubai is 20 km/h over the posted limit; in Abu Dhabi, no such tolerance applies — factor that into your journey planning.
The Bentley Continental Convertible competes directly with the Rolls-Royce Wraith and the Ferrari Roma. Here’s where it stands apart from both.
The Wraith is rear-wheel drive and built around a ceremonial, chauffeur-grade experience. The Continental Convertible offers full AWD grip and a convertible roof — giving you driving engagement and open-air freedom the Wraith simply can’t match. It also sits lighter through Dubai’s tighter urban roads.
The Roma delivers sharper throttle response and a sportier character, but it’s a fixed-roof coupe with a smaller boot and no open-top option. The Continental gives you more cabin space, a quieter cruise at motorway speeds with the roof up, and meaningfully more luggage capacity — a practical edge when arriving at or departing from DXB. The Roma is rear-wheel drive; the Bentley’s AWD system provides more planted, assured handling across road conditions.
If you want the open-air grand tourer experience at the top of the luxury market, the Continental Convertible is the clear choice. Those considering other convertible cars in this segment will find nothing quite like it.
